2016 Olympian Jared Ward is ready to help you achieve your goals and have some fun training for the Rex Lee Run. Here's what he has to say about preparing for race day:


I, Jared, am so happy that you're supporting the Rex Lee Run and so I want to support you in your training and on race day!

I love BYU! I loved my time as a BYU student-athlete and I love that I am still part of the university as a professor of statistics. I am passionate about running and I'm excited that I am able to put my talents to good use and to partner with the race as the coach of Team Endure Strong.

When you join my team, you will have access to use any of my training plans tailored to your abilities. You will be given access to a state-of-the-art app that will manage your training calendar, provide post workout recording and analytics, and it also provides a team member area which makes team communication simple and organized.

I hold coaching calls on various training and racing principles to help you become a better runner. My goal is to help you run faster while avoiding injuries. I have also put together a library of videos to teach you everything from strength training to nutrition that you can watch on demand.So whether you're fast or slow, young or old, I don't care. Because we all run better together!
