Registration: Pre-race registration can be done on-line at this web site, via mail, or at booths located in the Wilkinson Student Center from February 9-13 and March 2-13, 2009. Pre-Race Bib and T-Shirt Pickup: Runners are encouraged to pick up their t-shirts and bibs prior to race day to avoid waiting in lines before the race. Pre-race bib and T-shirt pickup will be Thursday and Friday, March 12-13, 2009 at one of the following locations: At the Rex Lee Run booth from 9am to 3pm in the Wilkinson Center on BYU campus At the University Parkway Center, northeast foyer, from 5pm to 8pm at the corner of University Parkway and University Avenue. See map Race Location: The race begins outside the BYU Outdoor Track located just South of the Lavell Edwards Stadium. Race Time:The starting cannon for the 10k race will be fired at 9:00 A.M. and at 9:15 A.M. for the 5k race on March 14, 2009 by a member of the Lee family. Runners should be at the Outdoor Track a minimum of 30 minutes before the race to warm up, get their bibs, and grab their Rex Lee Run T-shirt. The T-shirt sizes run large, so please order accordingly and get there early to pick up desired sizes. T-shirts come in XL, L, M, S, and YL. Again, if you are planning on registrering the day of the race, registration is only open from 7:00 A.M. to 8:30 A.M. Family Fun: Live music, fun for the Kids, and Stadium Seating to watch runners make their finish around the track. Bring the whole family for a good time and to support your runners. Race Course Map:   View Map. Prizes: Medals will be given to men and women winners in age brackets. Numerous prizes will be awarded through a random drawing after the race. Examples of past prizes include: a Rex Lee Run scooter, a home entertainment system, Southwest Airlines tickets, longboards, guitars, movie tickets, and dining certificates to various local restaurants. Everyone has a chance to win! Runners must be present in order to win. Many fun and exciting prizes have been gathered. Honor a Cancer Fighter: Honor a friend or loved one who has battled with cancer. During the Rex E. Lee Memorial Run at Brigham Young University on March 14, you can show your admiration for a cancer victim or survivor by having a runner wear a Courage in the War Against Cancer certificate bearing the name of your cancer fighter.
